Outreach

MOBC is a church with a mission! We want to share the good news about Jesus with as many people as possible! To this end we run a number of activities for the local community including:

• ALPHA

• ENGLISH FOR LIVING

• CREATE

• WALKING TALL

In addition to these, we take an active interest in some people and organizations who share the good news about Jesus in the wider world. We receive their news, pray for them and donate money to help finance their activities. These include:

• BAPTIST WORLD AID

• BAPTIST UNION OF NSW&ACT

• HOPE STREET URBAN COMPASSION

• CROSSOVER AUSTRALIA

• Gary and Nicola Morley who work with GIA in Thailand.

• Anna Ingerman, one of our own church members working with WYCLIFFE, in the Philippines.

• Florence Judd working with HCJB Global in Ecuador.

• Volunteer Scripture teachers who serve Oatley West Public School.

• Professional Scripture teachers employed in Peakhurst and Penshurst High Schools

MOBC also devotes one Sunday per term to hearing from special guests who work in the fields of local, national and international mission.
