Our Core Values

MOBC promotes 5 core values that are crucial to fulfilling our purpose:  Teaching, Fellowship, Worship, Prayer and Outreach.

The Bible tells how the first Christians devoted themselves to these things and the Church flourished:

‘They devoted themselves to the Apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer…And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.’ Acts 2v42&47 (New International Version)

At MOBC we sometimes refer to the ’5 Ls’:

Learning about Christ – Teaching
Loving like Christ – Fellowship
Living for Christ – Worship
Leaning on Christ – Prayer
Leading others to Christ – Outreach

We encourage all who identify with us to recognize the importance of these things today.
