Why We Exist

MOBC exists ‘to make disciples who make disciples’.  In the Bible a disciple was someone who learned from the teachings of others and MOBC is committed to learning from Jesus and helping others to do the same.

The Bible tells how Jesus charged His disciples with this precise task saying ‘All authority in heaven and earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.’ Matthew 28v18-20 (New International Version)

In obedience to Jesus Christ, MOBC exists ‘to make disciples who make disciples’, helping people come to faith in Christ, grow in the faith, and share the faith with others.
