Church Staff
MOBC is a church where every person matters and all Christians are encouraged to participate in the task of making disciples who make disciples. We believe great fulfilment is found in using the gifts God has given us to serve Him, one another and the communities in which we live.
MOBC also employs the following staff:




Tim Burns – Senior Pastor
Tim moved to MOBC in 2002 from St Andrews, Scotland where he had worked in a senior pastor role for 7 years. Prior to his time in St Andrews he was senior pastor of Kings Cross Baptist Church, London, having studied at The London School of Theology. He is married, has three children and says “the whole family absolutely loves Australia”.
Matthew Arkapaw – Associate Pastor
Matthew joined MOBC in 2007 from Hornsby Heights, where he had worked as pastor of the Baptist Church for 4 years. He studied at Moore Theological College and Morling Baptist College, having already trained and worked as a high school teacher. Matthew is married and has three children.
Benita Clark – Youth Pastor
Benita joined the MOBC team in 2011 as a part-time youth pastor. She is currently undergoing accreditation at Morling Baptist College and is going to graduate in two years time. Working 4 days a week at the moment, this is increasing to 5 days a week in 2013.
Louise Radcliffe – Office Secretary
Louise was appointed Office Secretary in 2007. She is married, has four children and is studying to become a hospital chaplain.
