Sunday Celebrations

The New Testament describes how the first Christians met together to learn about Jesus Christ, celebrate Him, pray to Him and encourage one another. This happened both in small groups that met in homes, and in large groups that met in big venues like the temple courts. In keeping with this pattern MOBC offers both Growth Groups, and Sunday Celebrations.

Sunday Morning Celebrations start at 9:30am and are designed for people of all ages. A typical celebration will involve musical praise, a short time of prayer, a Bible reading, and a carefully prepared talk that applies the Bible to daily life.

An important feature of Sunday Morning Celebration is the well-organized children’s program, which caters for babies, infants, pre-schoolers and primary school aged children. Age appropriate games, craft and Bible teaching make sure the children have great fun while learning more about Jesus Christ.

Sunday Evening Celebrations start at 6:00pm and, while people of all ages attend, the musical praise and Bible teaching are planned with teenagers and young adults in mind. 
A special monthly feature is TH1RST Cafe when real coffee is served, guest musicians perform and our pastors help us think through some of the big issues facing us today. TH1RST is usually held on the first Sunday evening of the month.
