English for Living

MOBC’s English for Living program offers English as a second language at Elementary, Intermediate and Advanced levels.

The Elementary class concentrates on simple conversational and written English and suits students with very little knowledge of English.

The Intermediate class is best suited to those who have some knowledge of English grammar and reasonable written and spoken English. Comprehension, grammar and some conversational English is taught in this class.

The Advanced class concentrates on Australian idioms and a variety of activities designed to promote conversation.

A team of trained volunteers and helpers run classes from 10am-12noon on Wednesday mornings during the school term.

Cost for a 10 week term is $14. This covers the costs of course materials and morning tea.

Any student who wishes is welcome to stay on for lunch and an Easy English Bible Study group, led by some of the tutors.
