Prayer

MOBC’s study series on prayer, which took place during April, May and June 2012 was very well received by all who took part. Eight weeks of Sunday preaching were complemented by eight weeks of growth group Bible study that touched on a wide range of issues connected with the subject of prayer.

The series, which was put together by MOBC’s Associate Pastor, Matthew Arkapaw, underlined how the God of the Bible is the God who speaks and listens. In Jesus Christ, His Son, He has provided His people with the perfect praying Person, whose prayers are always heard. Becuase of Jesus, and with the help of the Holy Spirit the Christian is able to pray to the Father from any place and at any time. And while there is much that we still do not understand about prayer, we can be certain that God uses our prayers and they are powerful.
